It works and all, but it gets old. Then, you eventually you hit a plateau and that sucks too. The answer: the perfect treadmill routine for variety, fat burn, and elevating your fitness.
Here’s a great routine that you can knock out in 15 minutes. You can also really increase your running speeds and stamina with a routine like this. Do each of these for 1 minute and repeat the whole thing 3 times.
- Butt Kicks
- High Knees
- Side Shuffle to one side
- Side Shuffle to the other side
- High Skip
I stay around a speed of about 4.0 mph and find it easier to keep the same speed throughout the entire thing. So, it may feel like a slow speed for something like Butt Kicks but quick for Side Shuffles.
